Witness the thundering herds of migrating wildebeests, magnificent parades of great elephants, and Africa’s Big Five stalking the endless savannah. You’ll experience all this plus the Rift Valley lakes on this active 6-day safari. Mara is known for almost guaranteed sightings of the Big Five. Lake Nakuru is home to a huge population of pink flamingos and 400 species of birds while Amboseli is known for the large herds of elephants and most especially for its stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 1Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel and later depart to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a few minutes. Proceed with the journey arriving Masai Mara in time for a late lunch. Later, after some refreshments, proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive until the park closes at 6:30 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your camp. The Masai Mara is famous for its black-maned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. 

Day 2 Experience Full Day Migration Scenes

After an early breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring this unique park with a picnic lunch. The Mara forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You can visit the Mara River, which borders Masai Mara, and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a concentration of many animals. 

Day 3 Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you can visit the Masai Village and learn about their culture. Then depart to Lake Nakuru arriving on time for lunch and checking in. Then proceed to the evening game drive.

Lake Nakuru Park is known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for conserving the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we head over to Lake Naivasha. On arrival,  take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus.

Tour shall be followed by the Crescent Island for a guided walking safari.

Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck, and Buffalo. Afterward, you will check in at the hotel.

Then afternoon we head over to Hell’s Gate National Park for a bicycle ride(bicycle ride is optional at extra cost). You can also opt to walk or drive on your safari vehicle.

Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. The resident wildlife includes giraffe, zebra, impala, Grants Gazelle, warthog, and buffalo. 

A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. 

We shall head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge where our tour guide will give us stories of the gorge and help us trek. After trekking the gorge, we shall drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, exit Lake Naivasha as you drive to Amboseli National Park. There will be stops to view the Great Rift Valley and other scenic spots along the safari route. Stop and enjoy lunch at a restaurant along the way. You'll have a short game-viewing drive as you enter Amboseli National Park with possible views of the Mount Kilimanjaro peaks if the weather permits. 

Amboseli is an excellent place to view many wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons. An optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world.

Day 6 Full-Day Safari at Amboseli National Park

After early breakfast, you'll have a morning game drive and it will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. You will also walk to the lookout observation hill. The rest of the day will be spent exploring the park with chances of seeing herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and different species of birds. You will have lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch in the park depending on what you will discuss with your guide. 

Day7 Full-Day Safari at Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. The pre-morning game drive gives you chance to see the view of Kilimanjaro and big elephants, lions, zebras, and other animals.
After breakfast, we will depart from Amboseli to either Nairobi Hotel or Nairobi Airport. We can aslo arrange for a train transfer or domestic flight to a coastal beach hotel at Mombasa, Diani Beach, Malindi, or Watamu.
