After breakfast, you head west toward Fort Portal, passing through vibrant markets and rolling green tea estates. The air becomes cooler as you approach the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. You arrive at Turaco Tree Tops Lodge in time for a late lunch with views over the forest canopy. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the sounds of the jungle from your private deck.

The morning begins with a briefing at the park headquarters before entering the rainforest. You follow expert trackers to locate a community of chimpanzees as they feed, play, and groom. In the afternoon, you visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a swamp walk rich in birds and primates. This day offers the most intense connection with Uganda’s incredible biodiversity.
