13 DAYS PURE BLISS OF TANZANIA SAFARI

JAMBO – KARIBU!! It is a’ Touch down ‘at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by Johnbow Airport representative who will welcome you in traditional African style and after a short safari briefing transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After Breakfast depart for a two-and-a-half hours’ drive to the Tarangire National Park where we commence a game-viewing drive until midday when we enjoy our picnics

An afternoon game drive follows.

After the day’s activities return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day depart for full day game drives at this beautiful park.

This will be a day to explore the plains dotted with gigantic baobab trees, shrubs and plenty of wildlife.

After the day’s activities return to the lodge / camp for dinner and overnight stay. 

 After breakfast, make a scenic drive to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park.

Game drive until midday when we take picnic lunch.

Afternoon game drive beckons and we go for it.

Later in the afternoon drive out of the park.

Dinner and overnight stay offered at the camp / lodge.

Breakfast is followed by a Guided Cultural Tour of Mto wa Mbu Village. Among other areas, we shall visit a Rice Farm, The Makonde Carvers in their traditional workshop, a Banana plantation, Tinga Tinga paintings open air studio. Lunch is served by a local group of women who prepare delicious Tanzanian cuisine.  For the more energetic, you may go for a guided Bicycle-riding guided tour around the village or to the edge of the forest hence get to see more places. A Kindergarten is always interesting to visit where with some simple presents; these little children will remember you for days on end.

After the day’s activities return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Soon after breakfast, we drive to Lake Eyasi area and visit the Hunters-and-Gatherers tribe called Hadzabe in their bush setting. Thereafter, we visit the pastoral community called Datoga and intermingle with them for an ample amount of time as we learn lots about them. Later in the afternoon, we visit the Lake and enjoy the sunset as it drops behind the horizon full of kaleidoscope of colours.

Dinner and overnight at your preferred Lodge / Camp.

After breakfast, drive through the beautiful Mbulu Highlands to the Serengeti.

Picnics at midday give way to an afternoon game drive.

After the day’s activities return to the lodge / camp for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day spend the entire day doing game drives in this beautiful park.

Serengeti is one of the ultimate safari destinations in Africa.

It’s a pristine wilderness that seems so vast, full of incredible wildlife species among thousands of birdlife species.

Spend the day sighting the different wildlife that the park boasts of.

After the day’s activities return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After Breakfast, Have More game drives as you head westwards where the scenery is different.

After midday picnics, we drive out of the park, and visit a local Market where we shall learn lots regarding our diet and farm products.

Thereafter, drive to The Serenity of the Lake Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Victoria.

The views, the breeze are all wonderful.

On this day you will have a guided cultural experience of the local Sukuma tribe learning on the economic system, religious beliefs and eating habits. We shall also visit the Fishing village learn about the traditional fishing methods and the modern ones. It is a day to interact with the local people in the company of an informative local guide who will teach us a lot about the Lake Sango and the stakes that it holds in the Great Lakes Region hence a different experience. All means and overnight at The Serenity of the Lake Lodge.

After breakfast, we collect some picnics and drive through the Serengeti exploring the Grumeti River famous for the biggest crocodiles in Africa.
Continue through the woodlands seeing more game, then through the seemingly endless plains where game abounds. Picnics will be served at midday followed by more game viewing. In the afternoon, we head straight to Karatu and stay at your preferred Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we collect picnics and drive to the nearby Ngorongoro Crater where we spend the whole day in side this wonderful work of nature.
Later in the afternoon, we ascend out of the Crater and return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Have your final Breakfast on Safari.
Thereafter, drive back to Arusha with optional en-route shopping for souvenirs.
Enjoy Picnics at midday.
You will be dropped at Kilimanjaro International Airport in good time to catch your flight back home.
